Registration and Payment Details

The Childhood Lead Action Project charges a fee of $175 for the Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Training, and payment is due in full upon registration for the class.  Pre-registration for these classes is required.   If the class has filled we will make every effort to enroll you in another class.  Please be aware that only those registered for a class will be admitted. No walk-ins are allowed, and you must arrive on time to be eligible to receive your  Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Training Certification. We limit class size so participants have the opportunity to ask questions and have a quality experience.

Please note:  A $30 fee will be added to all returned checks.

Replacement Certificates

There is a $25 replacement fee for RRP Certification certificates.  We accept credit cards and checks made payable to the Childhood Lead Action Project.

Testing Policy

If you do not pass the written examination you must retake and pass the test within 30 days of the class in order to receive your certification.

Cancellation Policy

We reserve the right to cancel classes due to insufficient registration or inclement weather.  To advise us of your cancellation, call Evelyn at 401.785.1310, or email evelyn at leadsafekids.org.

IF WE CANCEL:  You can request a full refund in writing up to 30 days after the date of the class, or take another RRP class (within 90 days of the date of the cancelled class) at no additional cost.   To request a refund, email evelyn at leadsafekids.org or write to Childhood Lead Action Project, 1192 Westminster Street, Providence, RI 02909.  

IF YOU CANCEL: If you cannot make your class and you give us more than 48 hours notice you can register for another RRP Training (within 60 days of the date of the cancelled class) at no additional cost or receive a refund less a $50 administrative fee.  If you cannot make your class and you give us less than 48 hours notice or fail to show for the class, you forfeit your class fee and no refunds will be issued in the event of your cancellation.


Inclement Weather
In the event of bad weather, watch, listen or log on for school cancellation notices in the city where class is being held. For example, if the class is being held in Lincoln and Lincoln public schools are cancelled due to bad weather, we will not hold our class.

If no cancellation is mentioned you can assume the class is still running.
